Badminton Products Warranty

Badminton Racquet Warranty Information
All brands have a limited manufacturer’ warranty and the time lines are:
6-Months: Babolat, Badminton Innovations, Victor, Yonex
90 Days: Carlton, Dunlop, Karakal, Wilson
45 Days: Black Knight
This covers defects in manufacturing of the racquet, and not abuse (accidental or purposeful), wear and tear, or the factory stringing on the racquet.
The warranty is void if the following is present on the racquet:
- Excessive wear on the tops, sides, and handle/grip end of the racquet.
- Breaks at prime impact points; 3 and 9 o’clock, throat/yoke area
- Double breaks/cracks
- Missing hologram or the serial number
- Clear impact damage
- Strings cut out of racquet
- Faulty String job
- Damage due to excessive heat or cold
- Damage due to hitting another player’s racquet.
To initiate the warranty procedure for a badminton racquet from all brands (except Victor), please email info@racquetguys.com with the following info and pictures:
- Your Order number or name/phone number associated with the order.
- The defective area
- The sides and top of the racquet
- The entire racquet from end to end
- The serial number, either on the hologram, above the handle/grip, at the bottom of the buttcap, or from a scanned QR code (located on the frame)
For Victor, you must deal directly with Victor. Please use their online form found here: https://ca.victorsport.com/download/2886
For Yonex, the racquet must be sent in to their office in Calgary. Send us the photos and it will be determined if the break is a part of their warranty policy, then you will be instructed on how to send it in.
Racquet / Paddle Bag Warranty Information:
Bags from all brands (except Salming, 30 days) have a 3-month limited manufacturer’s warranty from the date of purchase. This covers any manufacturing defect, including but not limited to: faulty zipper(s), torn stitching, and torn straps/handles. There is no warranty on normal or accidental wear and tear or discoloration of the bag.
The warranty is void if the following is present on the bag:
- Excessive wear and tear
- Excessive amounts of dirt
- Customization of any kind
- Missing serial number tags
- Damage due to overly heavy objects carried in the bag
For all brands except you can initiate the warranty procedure, by emailing info and pictures to info@racquetguys.com with the following:
- Your order number or name & phone number associated with the order
- Pictures of the defective area
- A picture of the entire bag from end to end
- The serial number found on the inside of the bag on a white tag (look at both sides of the tag)
Upon receipt of the photos, RacquetGuys will reply with confirmation within 48 hours, and will forward the pictures along with the invoice to the manufacturer. Response time from the manufacturer can be 2-10 business days. If the manufacturer successfully approves the warranty, a $10 to $15 shipping fee may be required to send a replacement. If a replacement is not available, a RacquetGuys online gift card will be supplied for the full purchase value of the successfully warrantied item.
Court Shoes Warranty Information (All Sports)
All brands have a 6-month limited manufacturer’s warranty, with the only exceptions being Salming (30 days), Tyrol (case-by-case basis), & Yonex (90 days). This covers defects in the manufacturing of the shoe, which includes but is not limited to; torn eyelet/lacelet(s), faulty glue, and faulty stitching. The warranty does not cover normal or accidental wear and tear, discoloration, or wear on the toe areas due to heavy pivoting or toe dragging.
The warranty is void if the following is present on the shoe:
- Signs of use outside of the court (i.e. stains from mud, sand, soil, foreign stains, etc.)
- Signs of customization or previous repair
- Self-inflicted damage to the shoe
For all brands (except Tyrol), pictures can be sent to initiate the warranty process. To initiate the warranty procedure, please email info@racquetguys.com with the following
- Your order number or name & phone number associated with the order
- Pictures of the defective area
- A picture of the bottom outsoles of both shoes, side-by-side
- A picture of the tops of both shoes, side-by-side
- The shoe tag either found on the inside of tongue or on the inside of the shoe near the ankle area
- If the insole is removable, take it out and look for a sequence of numbers underneath, in the heel area.
