Most brands will accept digital photos as proof of the item(s) defectiveness.  Please make sure photos are medium sized and the email size is under 1MB.  Larger than 1MB might result in the email not going through. You can also use a file sharing site (please provide the link), or split the pictures into various emails. Tecnifibre and Yonex are the only brands where the product must be sent back to them. In the event the manufacturer cannot determine if the defect will be warrantied through the pictures, they may ask for the product to be sent back

TENNIS RACQUET WARRANTY GUIDELINES & PROCEDURES

Tennis racquets from all brands have a 1-year limited manufacturer’s warranty from the date of purchase.  This includes the brands: Babolat, Diadem, Dunlop, Gamma, Head, Prince, ProKennex, Solinco, Tecnifibre, Volkl, Wilson, and Yonex. 

Any strings that have been installed on the racquet are not eligible for replacement.

The warranty is void if the following is present on the racquet: 

  • Excessive wear on the tops, sides, and handle/grip end of the racquet.
  • Breaks at prime impact points; 3 and 9 o’clock, throat/yoke area
  • Double breaks/cracks
  • Missing hologram or the serial number
  • Clear impact damage
  • Strings cut out of racquet
  • Faulty String job
  • Damage due to excessive heat or cold
  • Damage due to hitting another player’s racquet.

For all brands (except Tecnifibre or Yonex), the warranty process can be initiated by sending us pictures. Please email us with the following information and pictures:

  • Your order number or name & phone number associated with the order
  • The defective or damaged area
  • The sides and top of the Racquet
  • The entire racquet from end to end
  • The serial number either on the hologram or from a scanned QR code (located on the frame)

Upon receipt of the photos, RacquetGuys will reply with confirmation within 48 hours, and will forward the pictures along with the invoice to the manufacturer.  Response time from the manufacturer can be 2-10 business days.  If the manufacturer successfully approves the warranty, a $10 to $15 shipping fee may be required to send a replacement. If a replacement is not available, a RacquetGuys online gift card will be supplied for the full purchased value of the successfully warrantied item.

For Tecnifibre and Yonex, the racquets must be sent in to their head office.  Please contact us via email – info@racquetguys.com – and a customer service staff member will provide further instruction. You will likely deal direct with the manufacturer.

PICKLEBALL PADDLE WARRANTY GUIDELINES & PROCEDURE:

Most brands have a limited 1-year manufacturer’s warranty on their pickleball paddles.  Exceptions include: Diadem (6 months), Franklin (90 Days), Harrow (90 Days), Onix (90 Days)

The warranty is void if the following is present on the paddle: 

  • Excessive wear on the tops, sides, and handle/grip end of the racquet.
  • Double breaks/cracks
  • Missing hologram or the serial number
  • Clear impact damage
  • Damage due to excessive heat or cold
  • Damage due to hitting another player’s racquet.

No set policy and are handled case-by-case, and for most products has 30 day limited warranty period.

 

RACQUET/PADDLE BAG WARRANTY GUIDELINES & PROCEDURE:

Bags from all brands (except Salming, 30 days) have a 6-month limited manufacturer’s warranty from the date of purchase.  This covers any manufacturing defect, including but not limited to: faulty zipper(s), torn stitching, and torn straps/handles.  There is no warranty on normal or accidental wear and tear or discoloration of the bag.

The warranty is void if the following is present on the bag: 

  • Excessive wear and tear
  • Excessive amounts of dirt
  • Customization of any kind
  • Missing serial number tags
  • Damage due to overly heavy objects carried in the bag

For all brands except Tecnifibre and Yonex, you can initiate the warranty procedure, by emailing info and pictures to info@racquetguys.com with the following:

  • Your order number or name & phone number associated with the order
  • Pictures of the defective area
  • A picture of the entire bag from end to end
  • The serial number found on the inside of the bag on a white tag (look at both sides of the tag)

COURT SHOES WARRANTY GUIDELINES & PROCEDURE (ALL SPORTS):

All brands have a 6-month limited manufacturer’s warranty, with the only exceptions being Salming (30 days), Tyrol (case-by-case basis), & Yonex (90 days).  This covers defects in the manufacturing of the shoe, which includes but is not limited to; torn eyelet/lacelet(s), faulty glue, and faulty stitching.  The warranty does not cover normal or accidental wear and tear, discoloration, or wear on the toe areas due to heavy pivoting or toe dragging. 

The warranty is void if the following is present on the shoe: 

  • Signs of use outside of the court (i.e. stains from mud, sand, soil, foreign stains, etc.)
  • Signs of customization or previous repair
  • Self-inflicted damage to the shoe

For all brands (except Tyrol and Yonex), pictures can be sent to initiate the warranty process.  To initiate the warranty procedure, please email info@racquetguys.com with the following

  • Your order number or name & phone number associated with the order
  • Pictures of the defective area
  • A picture of the bottom outsoles of both shoes, side-by-side
  • A picture of the tops of both shoes, side-by-side
  • The shoe tag either found on the inside of tongue or on the inside of the shoe near the ankle area
  • If the insole is removable, take it out and look for a sequence of numbers underneath, in the heel area.

45 Day No Fault Guarantee: This guarantee protects your racquet against all types of breakage (not including bumperguard or strings) for the first 45 days of ownership.

Within 7 days of purchase. the purchase must be registered here online, or, if your racquet has a 2-part warranty card attached, by post. If registered online, include a copy of the proof (scan) of purchase.

The warranty applies to the racquet frame only If emailing to us about a warranty incident please include: Clear, focused photos, without flash, showing the problem, the registration number, and the butt cap of the racquet where the letters BK appear. Include a scan or photo of your sales receipt.

Based on that email you may be asked for further information or to return your broken racquet to Black Knight at your shipping expense for examination

Extended 6 month Warranty against defect:

We usually have to examine a racquet to determine if a defect was a factor in its breakage. The more use a racquet shows the less likely that a break is due to a defect rather than to usage.

Start by emailing to us about a warranty incident, and please include:

Clear, focused photos, without flash showing the problem, the registration number, and the butt cap of the racquet where the letters BK appear.

Include a scan or photo of your sales receipt.

Based on that email you may be asked for further information or to return your broken racquet to Black Knight at your shipping expense for examination

Subject to approval, Black Knight will then send a free replacement racquet.

Register your racquet within 7 days. If broken after 45 days the owner may send back racquet and dated proof of purchase to Black Knight for inspection and consideration. If deemed a manufacturing defect Black Knight will replace and ship to owner at our cost.

Black Knight Badminton Racquets- 2 warranties

  1. Max Force Series 12 Month No Fault Guarantee: All Max-Force racquet will be guaranteed against breakage (string and grommets not included) for a period of 12 months from date of purchase. If a racquet is broken during the 12 months the remainder of the warranty will be applicable to the replaced racquet.

This special guarantee is valid in Canada for racquets purchased in Canada. Provided that the following criteria are met, product that is to be considered for warranty should be

• Area of damage and type of damage is identified in email (i.e. Fracture at 3 o’clock, eyelet tear, etc)
• Product type and model identified in email (i.e. Squash Racket, Potenza)
• Close-up picture of the trouble spot (i.e. fracture)
• General picture of the product (in other words, a picture showing the majority of the product)
• Scanned copy of customer receipt when not store stock.
