HEAD Warranty Procedure for e-warranties (Racquet Sports):

Provided that the following criteria are met, product that is to be considered for warranty may have digital photos emailed in to warranty@ca.head.com in lieu of sending in the physical product:

  • Type of damage and area is outlined on the warranty excel form (i.e. Break at 3 O’clock, stitching coming undone on instep, etc...).
  • Serial number from product written on the warranty form
    • All racquets this is found on the butt cap (i.e. 123456) or a scannable QR code near the throat
    • Footwear this is found on the tongue (i.e. 1234567801-2345678)
    • Bags there is a tag on the inside with production code (i.e. 1234)
    • Accessories there is none (please leave field blank)
  • Pictures required:
    • Close-up picture of the trouble spot (i.e. the breakage area)
    • Racquets: A picture showing the of top of the racquet (in other words, a picture showing the top of the grommet so that we can check for excessive wear)
    • If not a Racquet: A general picture of the product.
    • Photo/Scanned copy of receipt when not store stock.

A few reminders:

  • Grommets, String and Grips except on unused racquets are NOT
  • Breakage due to contact with the wall/ground (especially multiple breaks) are NOT covered as they are not considered a manufacturing defect.
  • *Footwear will be free from manufacturer defects for a period of 6 months from date of purchase, provided that the wear is attributed to normal court use (In other words, the shoes have only been used on the court and not for other purposes such as cutting the grass).
  • We reserve the right to send out replacement parts where applicable and amenable to expedite the process (i.e. balls, grips, nose guards, etc).
  • Photos do Not need to be 100MegaPixels. As long as the picture is clear. 
  • Inbound email size limit is 10Megabytes per email.
  • Warranties are only against manufacturer’s defects and for original ownership only (no second-hand product).

 

WILSON RACQUET WARRANTY RETURN POLICY      

Consumer Policy

  • Log onto wilson.com, scroll to the bottom, and listed under customer service click ‘warranty’
  • Fill out the warranty return form, provide a receipt, and 3 images of your broken racquet (details of images needed are below)
    • Fill in your account number under “where did you buy the product” field
  • Customer Service will receive notice to enter a warranty replacement

We will need the following information to process your return:

3 pictures, one each of the following:

  • The entire racquet
  • Specific product issue
  • Serial Number (holographic)
  • Date on can(s) for balls

A brief note including the following:

  • The racquet and grip size, along with the written serial code.
  • Preference in replacement if no longer available
  • Your account # / Customer contact / shipping information

The following are automatic denials of warranty

  • Racquet purchased over 1 year ago
  • Strings cut out of the racquet
  • Bumper guard extremely damaged
  • Clear impact damage
  • Missing holographic serial number

Accidental Impacts ARE NOT COVERED

  • Abuse or excessive wear
  • Negligence
  • Improper stringing tensions or techniques
  • Unauthorized repairs/alterations
  • Normal wear, e.g., paint chips

This warranty provides for replacement racquet frames at Wilson’s sole discretion.  Wilson Racquet Sports is not required to replace strings, racquet covers, bags, grips or overgrips.

Wilson Shoe Rubber Durability Guarantee

  • The Wilson Rubber Durability Guarantee applies to the following models purchased by the customer.

 The 6 month guarantee covers the wear of the performance rubber outsole of the Wilson models:

  • The Wilson Guarantee defines wear through as follows:

Outsoles – Insole is exposed through the bottom of the shoe.

Toe Guard – Toe is worn through exposing a hole in the inside of the shoe.

Note: Exposure of different colored outsoles or midsole material does not constitute excessive wear. Excessive wear of the upper is not covered in the Guarantee. Wilson will honor structural defects.  If the shoes do not qualify under the Guarantee, the original pair will be returned.

  • The consumer must return the shoes with the original dated sales receipt to the following address:

  • There is a limit of one replacement pair per purchase.
  • Wilson reserves the right to determine if conditions of this guarantee are met and to discontinue the program at any time.  Authorized dealers will be notified prior to such actions.

All returns must be accompanied by an original dated sales receipt.

 

SELKIRK WARRANTY POLICY      

All Selkirk Sport high-performance paddles* come with an industry first, Limited Lifetime Warranty against manufacturer defects when you register your paddle online with us. We have done more than any other manufacturer to remove as much of the risk of purchasing a new Pickleball Paddle as possible.

Limited Lifetime Warranty

Selkirk Sport Pickleball paddles are guaranteed against workmanship and manufacturer defects for the lifetime of the paddle with activation of warranty through the registering of the paddle with Selkirk Sport. The warranty is not transferable after registration and only applies to original owner. 

What's Covered and What's Not

Manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship are covered for the lifetime of the product. Normal wear and tear, damage caused by abuse, negligence or user modification, and the natural breakdown or fading of graphics over extended use are not covered.

Miscellaneous

This warranty is available for Selkirk Sport pickleball paddles in Canada & the United States. Selkirk Sport holds the sole discretion to determine whether a damaged paddle is covered under our lifetime warranty. Selkirk Sport has the sole discretion to determine whether to replace or repair a paddle covered under our lifetime warranty. Replacement paddles are not covered under our lifetime warranty.

 

NEO and Latitude

Our recreational NEO and Latitude Paddle come with a 1-year warranty against manufacturer defects.

 

BABOLAT WARRANTY POLICY

Rackets - 1 year from date of purchase, with proof of purchase.

Only on manufacturing defects

We require the following to process a claim:

  1. Copy of invoice
  2. Pictures of damaged area (1 close up, 1 showing the whole head, 1 showing the ''back'' side of head, 1 showing overall state of racket)
  3. Serial number (found on neck of racket, looks like a barcode)
  4. Batch number (found on buttcap)

Claims that are automatically disqualified:

Double breaks

Breaks at 3 o'lock

Shoes - 6 months from date of purchase, with proof of purchase.

Only on manufacturing defects

We require the following to process a claim:

  1. Copy of invoice
  2. Pictures of damaged area (1 close up, 1 showing showing the batch number, 1 showing both outsole of the shoes, 1 showing overall state of shoes)
  3. Batch number (found under the inner sole of the shoe, in either the right or left foot)

Bags - 6 months from date of purchase, with proof of purchase

Only on manufacturing defects

We require the following to process a claim:

  1. Copy of invoice
  2. Pictures of damaged area (1 close up, 1 showing showing the batch number, 1 showing overall state of the bag)
  3. Batch number (found in one of the pockets)

It can take us anywhere from 24 hrs to a few weeks to process a claim depending on the time of year. (March, April and December are the months were claims take a bit longer)

However, you should always receive an email from us acknowledging we received your claim within 24 hrs of your sending it. If you don't receive an email, please send a reminder. 

Never send items back unless we specifically ask you for them. 

Once a claim is approved, you can go ahead an destroy the defective product. 

 

SALMING NORTH AMERICA WARRANTY POLICY AND PROCEDURE


Provided that the following criteria are met, product that is to be considered for warranty should be
submitted via email to: supportusa@salming.com.
• Area of damage and type of damage is identified in email (i.e. Fracture at 3 o’clock, eyelet tear, etc)
• Product type and model identified in email (i.e. Squash Racket, Potenza)
• Close-up picture of the trouble spot (i.e. fracture)
• General picture of the product (in other words, a picture showing the majority of the product)
• Scanned copy of customer receipt when not store stock.

Product must fall within the warranty periods outlined below:

Product will not be eligible for warranty under the following circumstances:
• Racket has been restrung
• Breakage caused by misuse or frustration
• Common drag or wear patterns on indoor shoes
• Footwear put into the dryer
• Any product not directly purchased from Salming North America or one of our approved dealers
• Act of God or mother nature
• Shipping damage (other than the original shipment from Salming)

Warranty Transferability
This Limited Warranty is available only to the original end consumer and is non-transferable. For this warranty to be valid, the Salming product must have been purchased directly from an authorized distributor, reseller and/or authorized representative of Salming.

YONEX RACQUET WARRANTY POLICY

Yonex Tennis racquets come with 12 months limited warranty provided by Yonex Canada & USA against manufacturers defects in materials and workmanship only. 

The above warranty does not apply to string breakage or to racquet breakage caused by intentional or inadvertent misuse as determined by Yonex Canada & USA. Replacement racquets do not qualify for additional warranty.

The above guarantee covers replacement of frame only. Stringing will be an extra charge.

All racquets returned for warranty for appraisal must be accompanied by: 
Full name & address of retail store
Full name & address of customer
Proof & date of purchase

Yonex badminton and tennis shoes are guaranteed for 3 months from date of purchase against manufacturers defects in materials and workmanship only.

 

PICKLEBALL PADDLES WARRANTY

  • Gamma paddles paddles are guaranteed to be free of manufacturing defects for a period of 1 year from the date of purchase or return for a replacement. If returning a paddle, please do NOT mark your paddle with identification, such as a name. We cannot accept returns in this situation. See websitefor restrictions and further details

What's Covered? 

Manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship are covered during warranty period

What's Not Covered? 
Normal wear and tear, damage caused by abuse, negligence or user modification, and the natural breakdown or fading of graphics over extended use are not covered.  Cracks and damage close to the edge of a paddle are not covered by warranty. These are usually caused by hitting another paddle, the court floor or other solid objects.  A ball will not cause this type of damage.  Please see picture as reference.

 

BLACK KNIGHT WARRANTY

Register Online! All Squash racquets are covered by 2 guarantees.

1. 45 day No Fault guarantee:

These guarantees are valid in Canada for racquets purchased in Canada. Guarantee policies may vary in other countries - write to us for more details: Warranty@playBK.com

45 Day No Fault Guarantee: This guarantee protects your racquet against all types of breakage (not including bumperguard or strings) for the first 45 days of ownership.

Within 7 days of purchase. the purchase must be registered here online, or, if your racquet has a 2-part warranty card attached, by post. If registered online, include a copy of the proof (scan) of purchase.

The warranty applies to the racquet frame only If emailing to us about a warranty incident please include: Clear, focused photos, without flash, showing the problem, the registration number, and the butt cap of the racquet where the letters BK appear. Include a scan or photo of your sales receipt.

Based on that email you may be asked for further information or to return your broken racquet to Black Knight at your shipping expense for examination

Subject to approval, Black Knight will then send a free replacement racquet.

2. Extended 6 month Warranty against defect:

We usually have to examine a racquet to determine if a defect was a factor in its breakage. The more use a racquet shows the less likely that a break is due to a defect rather than to usage.

Start by emailing to us about a warranty incident, and please include:

Clear, focused photos, without flash showing the problem, the registration number, and the butt cap of the racquet where the letters BK appear.

Include a scan or photo of your sales receipt.

Based on that email you may be asked for further information or to return your broken racquet to Black Knight at your shipping expense for examination

Subject to approval, Black Knight will then send a free replacement racquet.

Register your racquet within 7 days. If broken after 45 days the owner may send back racquet and dated proof of purchase to Black Knight for inspection and consideration. If deemed a manufacturing defect Black Knight will replace and ship to owner at our cost.

Badminton - 2 warranties

  1. Max Force Series 12 Month No Fault Guarantee: All Max-Force racquet will be guaranteed against breakage (string and grommets not included) for a period of 12 months from date of purchase. If a racquet is broken during the 12 months the remainder of the warranty will be applicable to the replaced racquet.

Max-Force series: 12 months

This special guarantee is valid in Canada for racquets purchased in Canada. Based on that information you may be asked to return your broken racquet to Black Knight at your shipping expense for examination.

Subject to approval, Black Knight will send a free replacement frame plus a free set of Ashaway ZyMax 70 badminton string (other Ashaway strings available upon request)

This guarantee is valid in Canada for racquets purchased in Canada and covers frame breakage due to defect.

PRINCE Footwear Outsole Guarantee Guidelines & Policy

  1. All footwear is required to be examined under the Warranty Policy, and should be initially returned to the authorized U.S. Prince retailer from which the original purchase was made.   2. To qualify for the 6 month outsole guarantee the outsole must be completely worn through (exposing the insole through the bottom of the shoe) or the toe guard must be worn through, exposing a hole in the inside of the shoe. This warranty does not apply to damages caused by improper use of the mishandling of the product.
  3. If a shoe is returned (along with proof of purchase) and meets the requirements as described above a replacement for the product will be provided. Prince reserves the right in its sole discretion to determine whether the wear qualifies for the guarantee.
  4. This policy is limited to a ONE TIME replacement.

 

PRINCE Racquet Warranty Guidelines & Policy

  1. All racquets required to be examined under the Warranty Policy should be initially returned to the authorized Prince retailer from which the original purchase was made.   2. If a racquet is returned with proof of purchase and is found to be defective, Prince will, solely at its discretion, provide a replacement for the product.
  3. Due to the nature of racquet sports, Prince reserves the right to accept racquets that are ONLY considered to have been damaged under normal playing conditions up to a period of (1) year from date of purchase.
  4. Prince specifically does NOT offer any form of warranty for damage caused by (a) player negligence or abuse; (b) Improper racquet maintenance; (c) faulty stringing or (d) attempted repairs caused by an owner or third party.
  5. Prince specifically does not offer any form of warranty to cover issues related to string breakage or wear.
  6. This limited warranty does not affect your statutory rights.
